On February 2, 2013, Ray Emery had an impressive game for the Chicago Blackhawks, making 45 saves on 47 shots and securing a win in a shootout against the Calgary Flames with a final score of 3-2.

The game stayed tied until Patrick Kane scored 4:08 into the final frame. Although Calgary scored the next two goals, Marian Hossa tied the game with just three seconds left in regulation.
