In an embarrassing post-game move, the Dallas Stars didn't just secure a 5-4 overtime victory against the Chicago Blackhawks; they also delivered a gut-punch to Blackhawks fans.
After the intense match at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Blackhawks reporter Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports revealed that the arena was blaring sound with "Chelsea Dagger."
This hit single by The Fratellis is the signature anthem of a win for the Chicago Blackhawks, customarily played at the United Center to celebrate each Blackhawks goal and victory.
The Stars' strategic use of the song added an extra layer of salt to the wound for the Blackhawks faithful, but the Stars might want to humble themselves as the Blackhawks are second to dead last in the NHL, it's not accomplishing feat to beat them at this time.
