Heartbreak resurfaces for Chicago Blackhawks fans vs Vancouver Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks had their season ended thanks to the Edmonton Oilers closing the door on Game 7. Thanks to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, the Canucks faithful will not see another round of playoff play.
But the Canucks arguably once did this to the Blackhawks during the early period of the Quenneville Dynasty.
In the 2011 playoffs, a year after the Blackhawks' first cup run the Hawks had to face down a foe they eliminated two times before this season.
Instead of Ryan Nugent-Hopkins eliminating the Canucks, it was Alexander Burrows who would deliver the fatal blow.
In overtime play, Alexander Burrows's slapshot made it past #50 Corey Crawford 5:22 into OT.
This would secure the victory in Game 7, 3-2 over the Blackhawks.
The Blackhawks were of course the team to beat at the time, in their prime of course.
But nobody on the West Coast can think about Burrows without thinking about that defining game against the Blackhawks. His goal was instantly immortalized by broadcaster John Shorthouse's call on radio: «They've slayed the dragon!»
Neither team was considered terrible at the time, as the Blackhawks had on the roster: Duncan Keith, Marian Hossa, Niklas Hjalmarsson, Brent Seabrook amongst
Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews being the face(s) of the franchise.
While the Canucks weren't easy to snuff out, with Roberto Luongo, Daniel and Henrik Sedin, Ryan Kesler, Kevin Bieksa, Alexander Edler, and the infamous Raffi Torres on the roster, as the enforcer at the time.
