While Florida continues to host their Stanley Cup celebrations, Evander Kane's decision has ultimately led to karma quickly catching up to the Oilers forward.
The game was aready deemed over with the clock ticking down in the third period, with Sam Reinhart having posted a four-goal game.
This caused the refs to have their heads on a swivel to ensure the game ended safely.

Evander Kane under investigation by the NHL

Karma has came back quickly on Kane, and the NHL is investigation if he was truly injured or not to be placed on LTIR, and activated once the playoffs began.
Kane has also been quickly listed for trade, per Elliotte Friedman.
After all, Kane's production on the scoresheet was nearly nonexistent, and the Oilers would benefit from freshening up their top six this offseason by moving him.
After all, it may have been the best decision for Kane to not come out and shake the Panthers' hands, as things could have turned ugly.
