The NHL has announced a brand new multi-year streaming deal with DAZN that will provide international growth to the NHL in over 200 countries.

DAZN and NHL's new streaming deal deems them the exclusive destination for live and on-demand coverage of every NHL game in nearly 200 countries, including the Stanley Cup Playoffs and Stanley Cup Finals.
NHL.TV will move and transition into DAZN, a well known streaming provider that was introduced on smart TVs and is known for their coverage of sports outside the NHL (NFL, UFC, etc.).
Existing subscribers of NHL.TV will have their subscriptions migrated to DAZN and will receive further details in the "coming months," the NHL said.

Further details revealed on the NHL's new multi-year partnership with DAZN

DAZN's audience of 120 million registered sports fans will now have NHL games on demand and also live on any device on which their service is available, smart TVs, mobile devices, tablets and gaming consoles.
NHL.tv now joins the NFL Game Pass, PGA Tour Pass, and FIBA's Courtside 1891.
DAZN CEO Shay Segev released the following statement on their new agreement with the NHL:
"DAZN's landmark agreement with the NHL is a significant step forward in our mission to deliver the most exciting sports action to fans across the globe. NHL Chief Operating Officer Steve McArdle also released a statement on the matter, revealing just how much this will help spread the game we all love:
«The NHL is a global League, and with 30 percent of our Players born outside of North America, engaging our international fans is a significant priority. Media distribution is at the core of our global strategy, and we are thrilled to partner with DAZN to continue to expand our global reach and engage with our fast-growing international fan base. Our shared commitment to innovation, gold standard technology and providing an exceptional content delivery service will allow us to deliver NHL content to hockey fans around the world on the platforms they prefer.»

According to the statement released by NHL Public Relations, select games in certain countries will remain blacked out but will be available on demand immediately after the game is concluded.
