Former NHL forward Evgeny Kuznetsov, who won the Stanley Cup with the Washington Capitals in 2018, is reportedly eying his next NHL team.

Is former NHL forward Evgeny Kuznetsov eying a return to the NHL? Don't be surprised!
The former Washington Capitals Stanley Cup champion, who helped to defeat the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2018 Cup Final, donned a Golden Knights sweater in a practice rink while wearing the gear of former Capitals teammate and fellow Russian Ilya Samsonov.
Immediately, speculation began to build that he could be gearing up for a comeback, and the Golden Knights could be interested.
Per his agent Shumi Babayev, Kuznetsov will not accept a professional tryout agreement because of his past accomplishments.
There are 10 teams in the NHL where Kuznetsov can play. He is not an $8 million player now, his new contract will be more affordable. We will not take a tryout contract. Everyone knows his capabilities, - said the player's agent Shumi Babayev
There are about ten teams where Kuznetsov could become a real asset - there is both a place on the roster and room under the salary cap.

Kuznetsov is still viewed as a high-quality hockey player with great potential. At the same time, he is no longer an $8 million player.

His new contract will be significantly more affordable, and for many teams, it could be a bargain: a quality center at a reasonable price. Now is a great time to return.

Kuznetsov has 575 points (173G, 402A) in 743 career games with the Washington Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes.
