Colby Cohen works with DailyFaceoff.com with Frank Seravalli and is an analyst for Westwood One, ESPN, and covers NCAA Ice Hockey.
However it seems, he lost track of what he was supposed to do this weekend, which is covering the game, and instead attacked a fan.The fan would rightfully criticize his commentary, as one would think that sports commentary should have a flavor of grey, without bias given that NCAA Hockey this late in the season has many teams competing for the Frozen Four title.
Thanks for the respect Micheal. By the looks of your photo, I respect how much you eat. Mutual respect is always good. #Cawlidgehawkey— Colby Cohen (@ColbyCohen36) March 31, 2024
Not everyone's favorite team will be competing, but there will be plenty enough competition going on, to see through an objective lens.
However, sometimes fans get too frustrated and take things personally, which could be construed as doing so.
However, instead of debating the topic at hand, the ESPN Analyst decided to take a shot at the fan's weight instead.
It shows a lack of decorum and professionalism, which we know a lot of hockey players show off the ice, but this former hockey player forgot that the internet is forever.
