Historic figure Don Cherry is once again making waves in the hockey news world, and this time he has dug apart one specific NHL organization, with a bold hot take on their management.

Don Cherry, who formerly coached the Boston Bruins from 1974-1979 has recently turned his back away from the franchise after they traded Brad Marchand and several other key pieces at the NHL trade deadline.
Cherry, who is no longer in the hockey scene, still keeps up to date with his own perspective on the NHL through The Grapevine Podcast, his own newly-created platform.

Don Cherry questions Bruins GM Don Sweeney's management skills

On Cherry's latest episode, he expressed confusion for the moves taking place in Boston.
He degraded management for their poor return in the Marchand trade, and their playoff odds.
«That's a big turnover, for sure. I don't understand it. Something funny going on in that whole organization. They're going to miss the playoffs, that's for sure,» Cherry said. «I don't know why they're doing this. I just don't understand it. They got rid of so many good players, and now look at them.»
The Bruins shipped out Brad Marchand, Brandon Carlo, Trent Frederic and several others in a big trade deadline shakeup, which has even struck some of the biggest NHL personalities with confusion.
General manager Don Sweeney's recent moves have given fans no real sign of direction with the franchise; is it a re-tooling process, a rebuild?
Many are like Cherry, still in shock and wonder from this years past NHL trade deadline.
