Chris Vosters delivers low-blow shot to the Blackhawks organization after firing

On June 6th, the Chicago Blackhawks fired Chris Vosters who had followed the footsteps of Pat Foley and Eddie Olcyzk in the play-by-play booth.
Of course, Pat Foley is not an easy follow, given how much the Chicago faithful loved his play-by-play abilities.
But you'd think Vosters would end his relationship with the Blackhawks in a professional manner.
Instead, he dealt a low blow to the organization after the opportunity he received from the organization, wasn't acknowledged in a message to the Blackhawks.
Multiple Blackhawks organization members would wish him well and thank him for all he had done during his time with the Hawks, with no reciprocations.
In the meantime, the Blackhawks replaced Vosters with the 57-year-old, Rick Ball, who had been the play-by-play announcer for the Calgary Flames for the past ten years.
Who has been well received by the Blackhawks fans, and mourned by those in Calgary.
It's hard telling where Vosters will land on his feet next, but professionalism is lacking from his camp.
"One thing we know is that our fans value deep hockey knowledge and experience, and it was important to us that our broadcast reflect those values," said Blackhawks president of business operations Jaime Faulkner. "Every year after the season concludes, we evaluate our broadcast talent in the booth for both radio and TV, and also in-studio, to determine if it is at the level our fans expect and deserve. Based on our own evaluations, as well as feedback from key stakeholders and partners, we felt we need to make a change in this role.
Fans can be assured, that ownership is listening.
