During the match, Max Domi, a player from the Leafs, wanted to fight Juraj Slafkovsky, the 2022 1st overall pick from the Canadiens. However, Slafkovsky, who had a size advantage, declined the challenge.
Despite not getting into a fight, Domi still made an impact on the game by scoring a goal.
