Chicago Blackhawks acquire two enforcers in major signing announcement

The Chicago Blackhawks' AHL affiliate team, the Rockford IceHogs, announced that they've acquired two enforcers in free agency.
IceHogs General Manager Mark Bernard made official on Monday that he locked up Andrew Perrott and Connor Mylymok to one-year AHL contracts.
Both players bring toughness, grit, and a willingness to drop the gloves if needed, giving Rockford that added physicality they need.
Bernard commented:
"We are very happy that Connor has chosen to join the IceHogs organization. Connor will quickly become a fan favorite with his physical robust style of play. He has a team-first mentality and will be a great fit in our locker room."
Head coach of the team, Jared Nightingale, also provided insights on these additions:
"We are excited to be having Andy back in Rockford. Having coached Perrott the last few years, he has continued to improve and has solidified himself as a solid AHL defenseman.

Perrott is returning to Rockford, where he played between 2022 and 2024.
Last season, the 23-year-old right-handed defenseman put up career-high numbers with eight goals and 26 points in 44 games with the South Carolina Stingrays in the ECHL and 19 more with the Hershey Bears in the AHL.
Meanwhile, Mylymok, 25, adds another layer of bite up front. The 6'1», 205-pound winger split time last season in Calgary's system, collecting 23 points and 61 penalty minutes with the Rapid City Rush in the ECHL, while logging 32 PIMs in just eight games with the Wranglers in the AHL.
Rockford fans hoping for more sandpaper in the lineup got exactly what they wanted.
