Detroit Red Wings forward Patrick Kane has shared that he'll be back in the lineup after the NHL All-Star break this weekend following a hard-hitting question from a reporter.
Kane had been dealing with an injury he picked up earlier this month against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Recent sightings of him practicing and rejoining his team indicate he's making good progress.
With the extra break from the NHL All-Star game, Kane is looking to get back to full health and contribute to the Red Wings.
The 35-year-old has shown his skills with seven goals and 16 points in 19 games since signing a one-year, $2.75 million deal in late November. For more on Kane's injury, check our earlier report from January 14th below.
