Connor Bedard breaks his silence following trade rumours that he will leave the Chicago Blackhawks
The Blackhawks' Connor Bedard reflects on Chicago's 2024/25 NHL season ahead of matchup against the Winnipeg Jets, and breaks his silence following wild trade rumours.
The Blackhawks take on the Jets today, Saturday, April 12, at the United Center, for their final home matchup before the end of their 2024/25 NHL season, and during pregame interviews,
Connor Bedard made some hints regarding his future in Chicago.
NHL.com released an interview of the 19-year old reminiscing on the season the Blackhawks have endured, and the forward seems to be very passionate about his organization.
Connor Bedard expressing his appreciation for his team and Chicago's fan-base:
«It's unbelievable. We're so lucky to play here and play in front of them. Win or lose, they're coming out and cheering us on and getting in the games.»
The young player seems to be undoubtedly passionate and appreciative of his team and the fans that come along with it.
Despite the continuous speculations that come hand-in-hand with a young star and an NHL basement team, Bedard has offered plenty of hints suggesting his longevity with the Blackhawks, or so we think.
Just this week, prominent NHL insiders have recently
sent a warning to Bedard, suggesting he may want to rethink his intentions with the organization before making decisions.
This may come off as a little concerning for the Blackhawks organization, due to the fact this star plays a huge role in Chicago's ongoing rebuild, with the 19-year old already hitting historic records, the team would trail behind for yet another season.
However, at the moment, Chicago's fan-base is hopeful that Bedard will stick out this re-build, and although it sounds promising, anything can happen.
