The Chicago Blackhawks may not have had the start to the season they wanted to, but their season-ending play has greatly improved.
Kyle Davidson's off-season plan has not panned out as many believed it would, despite the acquisitions of several veterans, the organization still finds themselves at the bottom of the NHL's Standings, one slot above the San Jose Sharks for the league's worst team.
Their second half of the season has been far more impressive though, showing great promise with their youth leading them to key wins over contending teams, such as a 5-1 win against the LA Kings and a 4-1 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
After a recent loss against the Colorado Avalanche and their star-studded roster on Monday, Blackhawks Nick Foligno praised his teams recent efforts and revealed it only took the loss of former players to be traded to kickstart their movement towards success, have a look:
