NHL writer shows flashback video of Blackhawks Connor Bedard at Brick tournament
Over the last two weeks, the Brick Invitational hockey tournament has been going on in edmonton AB where Cam Robinson has been watching this tournament and decided to show a flashback of Conor Bedard's time with this event.
Bedard was incredible during his year with the tournament. He played for the BC Junior Canucks and was in six games, scoring 8 goals and one assist for 9 points and 2 penalty minutes.
This tournament shows the best U 10 division hockey players that always play in the West Edmonton mall every summer. It began in 1990 when Bill Comrie who was the founder of The Brick furniture store Decided to put this tournament together and use the ice rink in the West Edmonton mall and also give you an experience when you went to The Brick store.
This tournament has coupled together with the events in Edmonton as the Oilers are still reeling after their game seven loss in the Stanley Cup final to the Florida Panthers. The city, its fans and the team went on an incredible run and gave the city lots of hockey talk.
The brick Invitational certainly continue that as the NHL and the Oilers began unrestricted free agency.
