NHL Makes Announcement on the 2025 Winter Classic At Wrigley Field Between Blackhawks and Blues
The 2025 Winter Classic will take place at historic Wrigley Field. NHL Public Relations made an announcement today on where you can view the special event.
The 2025 Winter Classic will take place on December 31st, 2024 between the St. Louis Blues and your Chicago Blackhawks.
The Blackhawks will face off against their rivals, in a series that began on November 12th, 1967.
The Hawks themselves hold the lead in the series with a record of 190-158-35-11. On the 31st, the Blackhawks could turn that into 191 if Interim Head Coach Anders Sorensen and Connor Bedard can stifle Jim Montgomery and the Blues.
Where can you watch the Winter Classic?

MAX, SN, TVAS)
Bedard and the Hawks will have to contend with Jordan Kyrou who could score the most career outdoor points. Kyrou has 4(2 G, 2 A) from his 2022 debut at the Winter Classic. For the Blackhawks to win, they'll have to stifle him, Pavel Buchnevich, and Dylan Holloway.
Bedard himself can make history if he notches even one point during the game:
his NHL résumé and becoming the third teenager in NHL history to score in an outdoor game.
The Blackhawks themselves will have to contend with their own record of regular season outdoor game losses.
