Bedard's latest eight-game point streak has put him on a list with team legends like Bobby Hull, and Jonathan Toews.
Bedard has scored 11 points ( 4 G, 7 A) in 8 games with the Chicago Blackhawks this season.
This puts him two games below his idol Sidney Crosby, who in 2005-2006 went on a 10 game points streak during his rookie season.
Among Blackhawks teenagers, Bedard still needs to extend his streak to tie Eddie Olcyzk and Jonathan Toews. As noted by the NHL's PR team:
