This Monday, Johnny Gaudreau's wife, Meredith, made an announcement on social media to shared a heartwarming post with the hockey world, one exciting and emotional reveal to say the least.
Meredith posted on her instagram to announce that she has given birth to Johnny's beautiful baby boy, Carter Michael Gaudreau, who will now carry the same middle name as his father.

Johnny's wife originally announced in extremely unfortunate circumstances, at his funeral, that she was pregnant with the couple's third baby.
Prior to the announcement, Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau's lives were taken in a terrible tragedy that many continue to grieve from.
Despite the heart-breaking fact Meredith gave birth just 7 months after Johnny's passing, we can only hope this beautiful life has brought some joy and comfort to the Gaudreau family despite this being an incredibly tough time.
