Connor Bedard chooses 'interesting' way of spending 4-Nations Face-Off NHL break
Connor Bedard's Four Nations Week Off Includes Witnessing History
They keep him front and center in just about everything they do. Even with some ups and downs early in his career, he's still one of the NHL's most talked-about young stars, and fans are always curious about what he's up to-even during a break.
And fans are caring to comment on it, give the kid a break!
Durant became just the eighth player ever to hit 30,000 career points-an all-time moment that Bedard got to see live.
Watching someone like Durant hit a milestone like that had to be special for Bedard. Greatness is greatness, no matter the sport, and you have to imagine he soaked it all in.
He's still at the start of his NHL journey, but that kind of legendary status is exactly what he's chasing.
His choice to spend part of his break in Arizona is interesting.
He didn't make Team Canada for
the Four Nations Faceoff, so he's got some rare free time. Maybe he just loves watching live sports, or maybe he's got a soft spot for Arizona-though with the Coyotes gone, he won't be playing there anytime soon.
It's always fun to see what NHL players do with their time off, and for Bedard, at least for now, it's enjoying basketball in a warm-weather city. Can't blame him for that.
