Chicago Blackhawks Unveil New United Center Goal Song

The Chicago Blackhawks DJ Lee Michaels is a funny guy, as an unintentional moment on the bench led to a new victory song.
Alex Vlasic recounted a story where the Blackhawks DJ in the United Center took a bit of liberty with Teuvo Tervainen's name that night.
The team was down 4-2 in the United Center, and Alex Vlasic thought it really wasn't the time for a funny song to be playing at the moment., but it still played on as the team chuckled on the bench.
The key moment in the song, which gave everyone a good gut laugh, was after Turbo scored a goal of course.
It was played with 2 minutes left in the game, and while the group was cracking up on the bench, they made a decision to make it the new victory song for the Hawks.
The song was originally made for Turbo's 500th point in the NHL and has instead taken on a life of its own.
Goes to show how great DJ Lee Michaels is at his job, creating a fun atmosphere in lieu of another
Blackhawks loss.
It's just unfortunate we've not been able to hear it that much this year, as it's really funny.
The
Blackhawks have a record of 20-36-9 this season and it's difficult to tell how many times we'll hear the song again this season.
Nevertheless, Vlasic's a homegrown talent and has maintained his composure well this season despite being in a bottom-dwelling organization like the Hawks.
It's the little things in life that keep us grounded, and a new victory song for the team is one more that can refresh the spirit.
DJ Lee Michaels needs to come up with a victory song for
Connor Bedard while he's at it too.
Bedard's already won the Calder Trophy, and produced at an elite level in the NHL, better than
Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche before him.
