The Chicago Blackhawks are beefing up their roster for the long haul. And who better to help than noted enforcer, Tyler Bertuzzi?
For the next 4 years, with a $5.5 Million AAV, the former rival is coming back to the midwest.
After spending 7 seasons with Detroit, one with Boston and one with the Maple Leafs, Bertuzzi will be returning to the states to help rebuild the blossoming Blackhawks.
In his 406 games played to date, he has 113 goals and 148 assists for a total of 261 points - just 13 points more than he has penalty minutes at 248.
After Bedard's injury last season, the Chicago Rookie of the Year could definitely use another protector.
