Chicago Blackhawks starting Goalie for preseason matchup vs Detroit announced

The Blackhawks will look to win a preseason point, albeit meaningless against Patrick Kane and the original-six club, the Detroit Red Wings.
The rivalry and former players on the Wings should add to an exciting contest, as we haven't seen Patrick Kane in the United Center.
But not only that but
Tyler Bertuzzi, and one former Red Wing will play tonight against their former club.
Since the Blackhawks are still working out the lines, and Luke Richardson will find out who works best together, they have released the lines tonight.
They have released the lines for tonight, which sees former Wing Bertuzzi paired with Bedard, and
Teuvo Teraveinen.
But former Red Wing,
Petr Mrazek will be battling the Red Wings, as the starting netminders tonight.
Mrazek has proven himself to earn the Blackhawks starting spot this season, as he kept the Blackhawks in many contests they had no business being in.
Mrazek, who arguably may be past his true prime, has found a new wind in Chicago, as he helps propel the rebuild forward, and gives the team a fighting chance.
This is what you need, you can't win championships without a reliable goalie, and despite faltering in 2020-2021, which saw the goalie traded to
the Toronto Maple Leafs.
His record in 2023-2024 was 18-31-4, with a 3.03 GAA, and an .908 save percentage behind a terrible Blackhawks team.
