Interesting Offseason Ahead In Chicago With Lots Of Money Available And Key Prospects Coming To North America
If fans are eager to see players currently developing in the AHL with the Rockford IceHogs, others who aren't in the organization yet will be ready to make the jump with the pros next summer.
Frondell, the Hawks' third overall pick in 2025,
is performing well in the SHL, with 12 points after 17 games, while Kantserov is among the point leaders in the KHL, with 27 points in 25 games.
The two players are expected to compete for a spot with the Blackhawks at the next training camp, which will be very interesting to follow.
But before that, free agency will start, and the Hawks will be in a great position to make a splash on the market.
With over $50M in projected cap space, there's no limit to who Davidson could target.
At this point, it's hard to predict what will happen, although it's safe to assume it will be entertaining for Hawks fans.
