Two of the newest arrivals in the Chicago Blackhawks organization decided to show up and show support for the Chicago Bears, with rookie QB Caleb Williams.
The Bears would have a successful outing, with Bertuzzi and Mikheyev present as they defeated the Titans 24-17.
Bert and Mikheyev have proven to be a good luck charm already off the ice, so here's hoping the two are just effective for the Hawks on the ice.
Mikheyev arrived from the Blackhawks for a fourth-round pick in the 2027 NHL draft. He came in a package deal with another former Blackhawk
Sam Lafferty. His current AAV is $4.75 Million and will be UFA at the end of the 2025-2026 season.
While Bertuzzi was a free agent and was put on the scent of the Blackhawks by
Nick Foligno.
Bertuzzi was due a raise from the Toronto Maple Leafs, which Brad Treliving wouldn't pay, and is a 4-year $5.5 Million AAV deal.
