The Chicago Blackhawks have been in the midst of a rebuild for the last few years, but this prospect could finally mark the end of the tunnel for them.

Anton Frondell, the third overall pick in this year's draft, has been shining bright in the SHL this year.
Frondell, just this week, scored a Michigan goal and had a four-point game for Djurgarden. In nine games on the season, he has nine points, making him a point-per-game player. Currently, he's on pace for 23 goals this SHL season-for reference, Leo Carlsson had ten. Frondell is dominating the league as a teenager and has looked like the best out of the bunch throughout the year.
This in particular was cool because Connor Bedard hit one his rookie campaign against none other than the St. Louis Blues and Jordan Binnington.
Frondell, 18 years old, has already signed his three-year, entry-level contract with the Blackhawks, so in that respect, they're covered.

Frondell still may be the best forward prospect coming from the 2025 NHL draft

There were talks about him being the best forward prospect coming into the 2025 draft, and so far, he hasn't disappointed.
In terms of Frondell's future role with the Blackhawks, he is expected to be guaranteed the second line center position. Bedard has upped his game on the face-offs, so talk about him moving to wing should calm down a little bit.
With the poise he already plays with at 18, he's going to be expected to come into Chicago and make an instant impact. However, there's a chance he might spend some time in the AHL with the Rockford IceHogs like Frank Nazar did (and benefited from it), and right now with Oliver Moore, they expect the same thing to happen with him.
Either way, Frondell is a huge piece to this pool and is going to be a key player in the future when he makes it to the NHL.
