The Chicago Blackhawks have parted ways with forward Boris Katchouk, as he has been claimed off waivers by the Ottawa Senators.
Katchouk, who has spent the last three seasons with the Blackhawks, played a total of 117 games and contributed 26 points during his time with the club.
The decision to place Katchouk on waivers was made by the Blackhawks yesterday, leading to his acquisition by the Senators today.
This move marks a new chapter for Katchouk in his NHL career as he joins the Senators' roster.
