The Boston Bruins are adding veteran winger Pat Maroon from the Minnesota Wild. The trade, reported by The Athletic's Michael Russo, sees the Bruins giving up a conditional late-round pick.
Maroon had been sidelined due to back surgery last month but is nearing his return.
Known for his physical play, Maroon brings experience, having made four consecutive Stanley Cup Finals appearances.
With three Stanley Cup rings and nearly 800 games of NHL experience, Maroon bolsters the Bruins' fourth line with a veteran presence.
