The Chicago Blackhawks have been experiencing some bad luck lately, as key players have been sidelined due to injuries.
However, there is some good news as forward Tyler Johnson has returned to practice after the All-Star break.Multiple players who were on a break have also returned to practice on Monday and feel refreshed after the rest.
The Blackhawks returned to practice today with some injury updates as well as some new tan lines.
"It was awesome to see some family I haven't seen in a while and then get a little bit of Vitamin D."

The team did not have many representatives at the All-Star Game, with only Connor Bedard and Jason Dickinson, who was replaced by Kyle Connor from the Winnipeg Jets, attending.
However, there is some fortunate news for the team, as they will be playing 10 out of their next 11 games at the United Center.
Additionally, another player is returning from injury; Tyler Johnson, who missed all of January due to a foot injury, returned to the ice for practice on Monday and will also be playing on Wednesday against the Minnesota Wild.

During practice, forward Anthony Beauvillier also returned to the ice, but he seems to still be weeks away from being able to shoot a puck due to a wrist injury.
«The timeline for bones to heal is still not good enough for a game,» Richardson said. «It doesn't matter if you wear a bubble [mask] or not. The bubble can actually hit [the jaw], and it could probably do more damage in more situations than without it.
«He'll have to get clearance from the doctors for when he can start exerting hard. He's starting to ramp up his conditioning, so that means he's probably able to work harder and clench a little bit more. But I don't know if he's eating handfuls of nuts or stuff like that yet.»

Unfortunately, superstar Connor Bedard is still several weeks away from returning to the ice according to Luke Richardson. Even if Bedard were to wear a protective bubble, it would risk complicating his healing time.
So, we've got some good news, along with some realistic timelines for Bedard and Beauvillier's return.
