The Canucks come off their recent road trip with a record of 2-1-0, and return home to face off against the hometown player, Connor Bedard.
With this being the team's sixth home game this season, they are adjusting the lineup in advance after dealing with multiple injury issues, including forward Conor Garland.

The team has decided to reassign defenseman Kriill Kudryavtsev after being called up due to the team missing Quinn Hughes due to an injury.
"General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that D Kirill Kudryavtsev has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL)." the Canucks said.
"Conor Garland returns for the #Canucks tonight. Kevin Lankinen starts. Teddy Blueger and Jonathan Lekkerimäki are expected to be non-contact participants in practice soon." Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 said on X
While Kudryavtsev is returning to the AHL, the team has confirmed that forward Conor Garland will be returning to the lineup after missing three games. While goaltender and former Chicago Blackhawk Kevin Lankinen will be in the crease tonight.
The Chicago Blackhawks will have their hands full tonight, as they will face off against former 1st-round pick Lukas Reichel (a revenge game) and the Vancouver Canucks, who have won 2 out of three games on the road.
Reichel was traded to the Canucks in late October.
