Tragedy strikes the NFL as two men have died following a shootout at Detroit Lions tailgate
James White, the Chief of Detroit Police has confirmed that a second person has died due to injuries following a shooting outside of a Detroit Lions tailgate game.
A man in his 30's has been arrested, White, the Chief of Police, did not specify any other details. A 40-year old man was killed on scene following gunfire, the second person struck has unfortunately passed away due to 'result of injury' from the shooting.
"It's a beautiful day and shouldn't have led to this, but it did and we're going to do what we do well and do the investigation and get it closed out and unfortunately, you got a family now who's going to have to deal with the loss of a loved one,"

"They were able to get him into custody quickly and recover two weapons from the scene and we're kind of piecing all of that together right now, but we do know we have the shooter," White said. "No one else is at risk. No one in the community. No one in this area is at risk."
