Stanley Cup Champion officially becomes free agent on July 1st once window opens
NHL off-season features heavyweight player hitting the open market
The NHL off-season is set to feature several big names including goal-scoring forward Jake Guentzel. But now, another name, and a former teammate of Guentzel will be testing the free agent market.
Looks like defenseman Ian Cole will hit the free agent market on July 1st.
More on Donnie and Dhali at 10am Cole had a heartwarming welcoming to the Canucks when he signed with the organization:
Cole will surely find a new NHL home in no time, as veteran NHL defensemen, specifically a left-handed shot one, are hard to come by.
