The WHL Playoffs have intensified, as one Swift Current Bronco player, Sawyer Dingman, was suspended for his gesture to the crowd.

Monday night, the Swift Current Broncos lost 16-year-old forward Sawyer Dingman during their WHL playoff run.
The forward let emotions take control in a match against Gavin McKenna and the Medicine Hat Tigers.
The Broncos would get demolished by the Tigers 6-3, and instead of remaining disciplined and a good sport about the loss, Dingman would react.
On Monday, the WHL suspended Swift Current Broncos 16-year-old left-winger Sawyer Dingman one game for an obscene gesture. In the Broncos 6-3 loss to the Tigers at Medicine in Game 2 of their first round series on Saturday, Dingman gave the middle finger salute to the 5,947 spectators in attendance at Co-op Place after leaving the contest taking a roughing minor inside the final minute of the third period.

He'd let all 5,947 spectators in attendance know that he felt they were "#1" in a special way.
While the sport of hockey is emotional, you leave it on the ice instead of directing it towards fans who come to enjoy the game on a night off, or make it a family event.
We're certain some folks had to just shake their heads, while Dingman felt it necessary to do so.
The 16-year-old will pay for his gesture towards the crowd in Medicine Hat.
Dingman prior to the gesture would be given a minor roughing-penalty, undoubtedly drawing boo's from the local audience.
And instead of humility, he chose to double down.
Likewise, he would remain off the scoreboard that night as well, as three of his teammates would pick up his slack, while the Tigers defended home ice easily.
In 59 games played with the Broncos this season, he's only scored 8 points (3 goals, 5 assists).
It sounds like he's found his home in the bottom-six and could be destined for a role as an enforcer in minor hockey. He already has the attitude now.
Connor Bedard's cousin Gavin McKenna would score a goal that night on the 29th and contribute to the win, as expected.
