CM Punk reveals wild details on Blackhawks' Stanley Cup celebratory party
CM Punk is a WWE superstar who's a huge Blackhawks fan, and in an interview with Rich Eisen's show, he got into the dirty details of how he partied with the team after their Stanley Cup win.
CM Punk got to celebrate with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2013 after they won the ultimate prize, the Stanley Cup.
This being the team's second cup win during their fledgling dynasty, the superstar wrestler met up with forward Patrick Sharp, defenseman
Duncan Keith, and Adam Burish for a night out on the town.
CM Punk went back 12 years during the interview:
they invited me out, and I spent the entire night out with them, and it was one of the greatest nights of my life. It's just insane.»
He'd get to hold the Stanley Cup, of course, in 2013 after meeting up with the Blackhawks icons.
When it came to the party, he would plead the fifth on how good of a time it was.
According to CM Punk, he was the only one who remembered the entire night, given that Punk is straight edge, he remained sober while the Hawks undoubtedly went on a debacherous rampage to the likes we'll never know if it requires a statute of limitations that Punk mentions.
«I'd rather not. It was only about twelve years ago. So I think the statue of limitations is still in effect on certain things. So I'd like to just say it was a really good time, and I'm possibly the only person who is there that remembers everything.
The was the second time the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup in the NHL, and if you were in their place, how would you celebrate?
Winning the ultimate prize once is something, twice is legendary, and three times? That's a dynasty.
CM Punk is a hardcore Blackhawks fan who still remains faithful to the team to this day, with Anders Sorensen and Connor
Bedard leading the team.
He jokingly mentioned they might drive him to drink, which would be something given his straight edge status.
However, this is another story where we'd have to be there to see what went down and right now, I'm just pondering what went on that would make Punk stay silent on?
