Former Blackhawk Artemi Panarin Blunty Calls Out Rangers Teammates After 2-1 Loss to Flames

Forward Panarin and the New York Rangers are needing every point they can possibly get at this stage of the season due to the tight Wildcard Standings in the Eastern Conference, and a 2-1 loss to the Flames sparked frustration in the locker room after the game.

The Rangers, who are now sitting 1-point out of an Eastern Conference Wildcard spot, could've moved into the second-Wildcard playoff spot with a win against the Calgary Flames, who failed to secure a win in their past 5 games.

According to FlamesNation, they had a significant advantage in betting odds to win the game at -240 for their moneyline, the Flames on the other hand were +240- which is not seen often.

Panarin did all he could to secure a win for his team, but his one shot on net that resulted in a goal that took less than a minute and a half into the game wasn't enough as his teammates failed to produce. The Flames outshot the Rangers 35-13, and the 33-year old forward let his true feelings be known.
