The Chicago Blackhawks were in hunt for their third win throughout the last five games but fell short by a score of 0-3 against the Carolina Hurricanes, at the United Centre on Monday.
The Blackhawks, who were coming off a 3-2 overtime win against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday, headed into Mondays game holding a record of 6-5-3, and just one point out of a playoff spot which is quite impressive due to the expectations surrounding the Blackhawks heading into this season.
Petr Mrazek continued to play great as usual, but once again the Blackhawks showed little to zero support which resulted in multiple of the Hurricanes' goals, including this brutal cough up by Blackhawks defensemen Caleb Jones which may be the worst turnovers throughout the NHL this season.
But it seems as if we reverse jinxed Caleb Jones's ''worst play of the season'' and Detroit Red Wings forward Tyler Bertuzzi ripped a page straight out of the Blackhawks notebook, with the worst turnovers of the season that costed the Detroit Red Wings the game.
