Player investigated by police after assaulting and breaking referees bones
A player by the name of Evan Polei has been the hot topic of the hockey world as of late, but not for the right reasons.
Polei earned himself a 10 minute misconduct for swinging his stick towards a referee, but that isn't the only time he has abused a official.
Firstly, take a look at his most recent act of abuse towards a official:
That play earned him a misconduct and is looking at facing a lengthy suspension as he is a repeated offender, and he has been banned in two other leagues separate from the AHL.
Shown below are his other two acts of violence, where he two handed slashed a referee as well as slamming a refs head into the boards. ''According to the league, the referee has broken ribs, jaw, facial bone. Geesh''
These acts are truly disgusting and he will now be investigated by the police, as he should be!
