Former NHL Player Taunts The Philadelphia Flyers Publicly For Signing John Tortorella
The Philadelphia Flyers are coming off a worst season in quite some time, being a bottom 5 team in the NHL is not something you see too often from the orange and black squad.
They have a very awkward roster, it seems as if they are in the middle of a rebuild but at the same time not.. their general manager has recently confirmed the rebuild stage is looking more and more liking to be upcoming and a new coach in the system should spark something new.
And it already has after offering Barry Trotz the largest coaching contract in NHL history that he declined, the Flyers have signed John Tortorella to a 4 year deal averaging around $4,500,000 per season.
The issue? Tortorella is one of the very few coaches left that are considered to be «old school» while coaching, meaning he is very hard on his players.
It's pretty clear what Tortorella does to organizations and it seems to have a negative affect rather than positive, Brandon Dubinsky tweeted about it and it clearly shows what the Flyers are in store for.
«Good luck @philadelphiaflyers» says Brandon Dubsinsky, he even added in the praying emoji..
