The Chicago Blackhawks Have Made a Major Announcement on 19-Year Old Forward Connor Bedard

The former #1 overall pick made history on Sunday night when the Chicago Blackhawks played
the Pittsburgh Penguins.
It also happened the same time
Sam Rinzel got his first NHL point.
However, Bedard has no help up front, aside from a couple of supporting cast members.
The Blackhawks need to draft a high-end forward if they don't get the first overall pick.
If they get the first selection, then you can make an argument for
Matthew Schaefer.
The free agency class is stacked as well, with the likes of
Mitch Marner and Nick Ehlers hitting the market, which could really boost the forward core.
Plus, the Blackhawks have some prospect help on the way, with
Sacha Boisvert tearing through the NCAA with North Dakota.
But, as Connor is turning 20 and is going into the last year of his ELC, he's going to need some sort of help next season.
It'd help if the Blackhawks got an actual NHL-caliber coach, too, instead of hiring and firing coaches like nobody's business.
Bedard has 20 goals on the year and had 22 the season before. Hopefully, in these last five games, he can tie that total from last year and maybe even pass it. Either way, Bedard slumped throughout the season and is still going to finish with 60+ points on the year.
The one thing Bedard's got to work on over the off-season is his speed.
