Taylor Hall Completes Personal History With 2 Quick Goals For Blackhawks
The Chicago Blackhawks may be down, but are not out as Taylor Hall is the next Blackhawk to provide some needed offense.
Hall would score his 2nd goal of the season against former Blackhawk goalie,
Kevin Lankinen.
The goal happened at 6:31 into the 1st period against Lankinen, as he caught the puck in a takeaway from the Canucks.
He'd take control and take score his 700th career point tonight, and his 3rd point of the season tonight.
Fans and pundits were unsure of Hall's ability to be a regular contributor after suffering multiple injuries last season.
The ACL injury kept him out of the lineup long-term and would leave us all doubters as he returned to practice, healthy and ready to go.
So far, his 2nd year as a Blackhawk looks to be great, as he's scored 3 points this season( 2 G, 1 A) in 6 games.
His last goal came against the San Jose Sharks, where the Blackhawks would route the Sharks in a comeback victory, with Hall being one of many players that night being a contributor.
Hall has one year left of his contract, which pays him $6 Million AAV, and was signed in Boston.
The contract will expire when Hall turns age 33, and will be a UFA but the question is will he be around afterward?
Hall has been an expensive addition to the team, and the Hawks need to make room for younger players who are currently developing in the AHL.
He hasn't been the 60-point scorer that Bruins fans were able to witness, can he turn that around here, this year, and give Kyle Davidson a reason to keep him around?
The Blackhawks are down by 2 goals against the lethal Vancouver Canucks, and Rick Tocchet. Can Luke Richardson will them to a victory?
