NHL star scarily predicted Connor Bedard's career at 12 years old
In a recent interview, NHL star Mat Barzal shared his early memories of watching Connor Bedard on the ice, predicting a bright future for the young talent.
Barzal recalled a moment from years ago when he first noticed Bedard on the ice."He couldn't have been older than 12," Barzal said. "He had a big cage on and skates that were a little too big."
Despite his young age, Bedard's skills caught the attention of star NHL players.
"We were like, who's this kid," Barzal said, "then, two years later he's shooting harder than all of us."
Barzal praised Bedard's abilities, highlighting his skill to outperform NHL defensemen with his impressive skills on the ice.
"He's an incredible talent," Barzal said.
With such high praise from a star NHL player like Barzal, it's clear that Bedard's potential knows no bounds.
