Defensemen done with the Organization: signs with Boston Bruins
Nikita Zadorov Turns Down Canucks' Contract Offer
Ex-Chicago Blackhawks defensemen Nikita Zadorov who's known for his tough style on the ice, has said no to a new contract from the Vancouver Canucks.
He's now a Boston Bruin.
Zadorov joined the Canucks last November after asking to leave the Calgary Flames.
The Canucks tried to keep him by offering a deal for 4 or 5 years at $4.5 million a year, but Zadorov didn't take it, according to reports.
It looks like he wants a better deal, which he might get from other teams that need a strong defenseman, which is what the Bruins provided.
