Criticism About The Blackhawks Superstar Connor Bedard Is Wrong, here's why

Connor Bedard of the Chicago Blackhawks was subjected to a smear campaign by Paul Bissonette, despite the allegations of being "soft", the accurate description is "producer".
The Chicago Blackhawks have Connor Bedard to thank this season. Bedard is practically a one-man show in Chicago, as the surrounding cast in the majority of cases would be grinders, and second-liners elsewhere on contending teams.
Despite all of this recent noise with Bissonette, a former enforcer in the NHL, the numbers don't lie about Bedard.
He's been a skilled centerman, who has found ways to score goals and make plays on a terrible team.
However, what Celebrini doesn't have is a Calder Trophy and a 61-point season underneath his belt.
The Blackhawks themselves have scored 138 goals this season. While not an elite level of scoring, the team itself has had to rely on Bedard for goal support, as he's been on the ice for 46.4% of those.
With Bedard scoring 46 points, he has major skin in the game this season, as he's scored 33.3% of all the Blackhawks' goals this season.
A whopping statistic considering the Blackhawks' lack of great secondary goal-scoring options.
With Dickinson's injury, the Hawks have decided to give
Philipp Kurashev another shot in the lineup.
Could he prove to be a problem solver for the Blackhawks? We doubt it, but it'd be nice for sure.
For now, Bedard is the one dragging the team along by his will alone, while Paul Bissonnette is a desk jockey. You see the stark contrast, right?
