A recent NHL poll has settled the looming debate of who is the better player: Chicago Blackhawks' Connor Bedard or San Jose Sharks' Macklin Celebrini?
The Chicago Blackhawks' Connor Bedard has just completed his second NHL campaign of his career, and with that, it is not hard to believe this young stars future is bright.
In just 82 regular season games, Bedard set new career highs by recording 23 goals, 44 assists, totalling at a whopping 67 points.
Plus, when noting this 5-foot-10 forward was only 19 years old throughout the entirety of his 2024/25 NHL campaign, it is almost impossible to argue this kind of production is impressive.
Within Bedard's NHL career thus far, he has accumulated 45 goals, 83 assists, and 128 points within 150 games.
With all said, this 2023 first-overall pick is already a star, and now he has gotten some serious praise for his excellent gameplay.
However, Bedard is not the only young star who is making airwaves in the NHL, another notable name would be the San Jose Sharks' Macklin Celebrini.
19-year old Celebrini was selected the San Jose Sharks' first-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, and he also underwent an impeccable 2024/25 season.
Celebrini recorded 25 goals, 38 assists, and 63 points within 70 games with the Sharks last campaign.
Due to both of these forwards astonishing gameplay, the looming debate within the hockey world has been: who is the better player? Chicago Blackhawks' Connor Bedard or San Jose Sharks' Macklin Celebrini?

Nine writers at NHL.com voted for the 25 best players under the age of 23-years old, and Bedard received the most voting points with 236.
With this poll, he ranked ahead of skilled young players, such as Macklin Celebrini, who received just four points less than Bedard, at 232 voting points.
