Troubling career-altering news strikes 22-year old Chicago Blackhawks forward
Chicago Blackhawks deliver troubling injury news on young 22-year old forward following Thursday's loss to the Los Angeles Kings
Concerns began to raise as fans noticed a forward absent from the Blackhawks' bench.
The player was also absent at morning practice, where the rest of team was present.
22-year old Blackhawks forward Colton Dach left the game with an apparent injury, with his arm dangling in an unsettling scene.
History repeats itself for Colton Dach
In 2023 at the World Juniors, a
gruesome scene sidelined the young forward for the remainder of the tournament as he screamed in pain, favoring the same side injured in Thursday's matchup against the Los Angeles Kings.
The Blackhawks revealed Dach will not be participating in practice, and it's drawing concern due to his past injuries.
As a 22-year old with already two career-altering injuries, it's quite concerning, and this will surely alter the longevity of his NHL career.
The 6-foot-4 forward relies on his physical presence in front of the net, and it is clearly taking a toll early on.
Blackhawks new forward lines
«We're trying to keep twos together as much as we can, we have Frank and Connor together, and we'll throw Mickey up there. We know Dickie has been good in the middle with Fliggy and Teuvo in the past - they've had some really good games. In January, I think it was, they were really good together - so, let's rekindle that.»
