Challenges plague the Blackhawks organization with unfortunate news

The Rockford IceHogs' playoff journey has hit a rough patch as goaltender Cam Gray enters concussion protocol.
To fill the gap, goaltender Mitchell Weeks has been recalled from the ECHL.
In a rare move during playoffs, the team has also signed goaltender Drew Deridder to a professional tryout, showing the emergency of the situation.
With these changes, the IceHogs are seeking stability after a bumpy road so far, and so early into this years playoffs.
Currently facing the Grand Rapids Griffins in the Central Division Semifinals, the IceHogs trail 1-0 in the series after a 3-2 loss on April 27.
Their upcoming game on May 1 will be away in Grand Rapids, adding to the challenge.
