Blackhawks goaltender drops f-bomb during postgame interview
With Arvid Soderblom, the young goaltender who has played 42 NHL games, the Chicago Blackhawks have a great goaltender, in development.
According to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times, Soderblom was a bit excited during the interview.
Having defeated the Arizona Coyotes 5-2, the goalie let out an F-bomb.
It was undoubtedly exciting for Soderblom because he felt confident enough about his performance to let loose and enjoy the moment.
As a result of his performance during the game, Soderblom had a .949 save percentage, along with 37 saves.
Best of all, Soderblom's goaltending helped the Blackhawks break a 22-game losing streak on the road.
Perhaps Soderblom can carry the confidence gained into the next game and demonstrate the team is indeed capable of playing better, consistently now that they've been able to win on the road again.
Soderblom has played 24 games this season, with a 3-18-1 record, with 3.83 GAA, and a .880 save percentage.
