Blackhawks first goal and fight of the season come from Connor Bedard Teuvo Teravainen and Connor Murphy
It finally happened, as the levee broke for the Blackhawks tonight, as the team notched a goal against the Utah Hockey Club.
The goal was a result of an excellent passing play from
Connor Bedard to Teuvo Teraveinen who has found himself back on the Blackhawks to augment their competitiveness.
The goal happened at 5:33 in the 2nd period, when of course we all thought the Blackhawks were down and out and this proved that the team still has tricks up their sleeve after the pressure Kurashev built in the game helped keep the team in the hunt.
Connor Bedard and
Seth Jones were the assists on the goal, as Jones was the secondary assist, making a zone pass to Bedard.
This put the Blackhawks up 3-1, and gave the team breathing room, with a little more than 1 period left tonight.
Soon after the goal, the ice exploded into a group fight, as both teams would fight, and multiple players would engage in a fight.
This would begin with Murphy and Keller, and then Durzi would jump in, and then fists would be thrown.
Murphy would eventually overwhelm Durzi in the sea of players on the ice and the fight would eventually end after the haymakers ended.
This game has been a spirited bout, but it's about time for the Blackhawks to wake up and hopefully Connor Murphy and Teuvo Tervainen were the ones to light the flame.
