A recent post on social media has unveiled that former former Chicago Blackhawks Alex DeBrincat has officially made his way back to Chicago, and it's for a very special reason.

The Chicago Blackhawks former fan-favourite, Alex DeBrincat, was drafted by the organization during the 2016 NHL Draft, where they selected him in the 2nd-round, 9th pick (39th overall).
DeBrincat quickly became loved within his time in Chicago, and spent his first five NHL seasons within this Original Six franchise.
However, during the 2022 NHL Draft, on July 7, the Chicago Blackhawks traded this forward for a 1st-round and 2nd-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, and a 3rd-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.
Although the trade had been bittersweet, it has been revealed that this highly skilled forward is back in Chicago.
Now, new insight has revealed that this former Hawk has been spotted back in Chicago, and not for any reason you'd expect.

Former Chicago Blackhawk, Alex DeBrincat, has just been spotted in Chicago

NHL insider Charlie Roumeliotis revealed on a social media post via «X» that on Friday, August 8, that two former Chicago Blackhawks, former veteran Patrick Kane, and Alex DeBrincat. were spotted on the ice with their sons in Chicago.

To note, these two former Blackhawk fan-favourites' visit back to Chicago was for a very special reason.
As it has officially been confirmed that the city of Chicago has declared Aug. 8 (8/8) as Patrick Kane Day.
Despite Kane and DeBrincat's time in Chicago being limited, fans are hopeful they make their way back soon.
