A sorry career ending for Corey Perry comes with statement on retirement
Marc Spector asked Corey Perry if he intends to retire at the end of this series to which Perry surprised him and the rest of the media with his answer.
It's safe to say that it's very doubtful that he will play another five years of hockey as he is 39 years old.
Over the past couple of seasons, his numbers have declined as father time continues to approach him.
Corey Perry, asked if tmw will be his last game: "Uh, no. I've got more in me. I've got lots more in me: five more years." (Media scrum laughs). "What's so funny? I feel like I'm 25!"
The former Blackhawks forward has had a turbulent year as he was released from the Blackhawks earlier this season due to an issue that was held at a corporate event. Having won the Stanley Cup in 2007 with the Anaheim Ducks, and losing the Stanley Cup Finals in 4 years.
