Blackhawks fans want to see Connor Bedard remain a Blackhawk as long as he can; as a recent statement of intent, Kyle Davidson should see to it, it remains that way as he puts on a show in the United Center every night as the team's top player.

The Chicago Blackhawks and Connor Bedard are going to be intertwined for some time to come.
As Connor Bedard would eschew all the negative voices that mistakenly thought to speak for him, in a dissuading fashion. Instead of riding the hype train, Bedard would speak up for himself and his team:
«Even before I got drafted, I was embraced as one of (Chicago's) own, so it's a special sports town and we have a lot of great players coming up, great people,» Bedard said. «Anything can get said. I don't really look at that, don't really see a lot of that unless someone shows me. But I just think people who know me know I love to be here and really trust the direction we're going.»
While there remain doubters across the league of Bedard's true intent, we're all waiting on GM Kyle Davidson to begin contract negotiations with the superstar forward on July 1st, and Bedsy's ready too.
«Everyone knows I want to be a Hawk as long as I'm playing."

- Connor Bedard
It's assumed that Bedard's next contract could look similar to other superstars in the NHL, like Connor McDavid's ($12.5 million) or Auston Matthews' second deal ($11.66 million).
Which could take up 8%-10% of the Blackhawks' cap space when he does sign. Thankfully, the Blackhawks have more than enough at the moment to sign him if and when that does come to pass.
For now, we'll have to rest assured in the fact that Bedard wants to be here and believes in the long-term vision of GM Kyle Davidson.
The team hired Jeff Blashill as the new Head Coach and will work to push the team out of the rebuild.
